Gay is currently away working in Australia, helping Gay Waterhouse and her 170 string yard. She has done some TV work on Australia Day and managing to make some useful international contacts.

The horses continue to run well and there are still horses for sale - including some exciting 2yo's. With the flat season due to start in approximately 8 weeks, now may be time to go and see what horses are currently available.

ANOTHER WINNER FOR GAY AT KEMPTON

Dianes choice wins at Kempton today under a great ride by David Probart. Despite the freezing conditions and the snow, it was a great result for the connections who were present.

JANUARY 11TH 2010

A NEW MEMBER OF STAFF JOINS GAY KELLEWAY RACING

ROB GREENWOOD

Rob Greenwood joined Gay Kelleway as her Racing Manager at the beginning of January 2010.

Rob has enjoyed horseracing from an early age and although starting off his working career as a postman for 18 years, the lure of being involved in racing as a career beckoned and he joined Walter Swinburn as a Partnership Manager where he stayed for 5 very happy years. Rob thoroughly enjoyed this job looking after the various syndicate members and keeping them informed about their horses and joining them at the racetrack when their horses were racing. He spent a lot of time watching the various horses on the gallops so he could report back to the owners how each of the horses were progressing.

Rob is 43 years young and lives in Watford. He was passionate about racing from an early age and remembers watching horseracing on the TV with his father from a very early age.

Rob faces new and exciting challenges working alongside Gay and her hardworking team, but he is enthusiastic, hard working and clearly loves his racing!

As we enter 2010, here's wishing Rob lots of success in his new position. Feel free to contact him at any time.

He will need a few weeks to find his feet but he is happy to speak to owners, new and old to assist in anyway he can.
